Global Youth Investors is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating young people about finance and investing. It provides free educational material to schools and investment clubs to help educate members about the markets. Our main course (click here for link) has been taken by over 40,000 students from 183 countries. In addition, with Investopedia, GYIO organizes a yearly stock market game in which schools attempt to generate the highest returns from their investments using virtual capital. The winner of the competition receives a $1000 cash prize from Investopedia and writing opportunities at the Motley Fool. Global Youth Investors' stock market competition has been played by over 4000 people on Investopedia.
